About Jen

Hi, I’m Jen. I’m currently a Media and Communications honours student, studying at the University of Melbourne. I’m in the final semester of my course and would love to find a job in the media and communications field because I love to write and I’m passionate about communications and journalism.

My practical background in journalism has been minimal so far. Aside from an internship at Fairfax Community Network (or FCN), which I enjoyed because of all the new and interesting people I met (from professional renowned photographers to singers).

Things which could influence my postings are as follows:

• My four years of completing a Media and Communications course
• My plan to get a job in the media industry someday
• My love of writing
• And the fact that this blog is part of my assessment!
